BK Entertainment's first venture 'Daal Bati Churma (Chocchori)' stars actor-producers Bonny Sengupta as a Rajasthani living in North Kolkata and Koushani Mukherjee as a South Kolkata-based Bengali.

In the bustling, nostalgic lanes of North Kolkata, Sumit Dasgupta, a 40-year-old software engineer, lives a routine-driven life with his teenage daughter, Mohor. Ever since his wife, Supriya, passed away unexpectedly a year ago, Sumit has been struggling to balance his demanding job and single parenthood.

When Bombay-based Rajaram and Rajendra Kumar are unable to pay their hotel bill, they board a train without buying tickets to flee. When confronted with a ticket-checker, they alight at Bangalore and widower Bishambernath mistakes Rajendra for Professor Roy. The duo accompany the former to his mansion where he lives with his daughter, Manju; widowed sister, and a niece, Sheela. The duo are introduced to the family, settle down and eventually Rajendra and Manju on one hand, and Rajaram and Sheela on the other, fall in love. They are not aware that Professor Roy has also arrived in Bangalore but is being held against his will by Banke Bihari, who has mistaken him for a singer named Natwar Shyam. It is during the performance that Roy will manage to escape and rather dramatically arrive at Bishambernath's residence - not only exposing the true identities of the duo but also ending their romance, and possibly getting them arrested on a number of charges.

Sandhya had always dreamt of becoming a police officer. She was fearless and forthright and made it her life's aim to fight the ills of society. Her father encouraged her dream and just when it was within her reach, tragedy strikes. Her parents pass away. Her brother marries her off into a family of confectioners where women only work in the kitchen. She becomes part of a family that required her to be a housewife and within a matter of days; her life had turned Topsy-turvy. With a heavy heart, she decides to give up her dreams and aspirations, but her confectioner husband; Suraj gets to know about her dream and her sacrifice for the sake of his family. Although only semi-literate, Suraj felt the burning desire within Sandhya to follow her dreams and achieve her goals of becoming a police officer. Despite everything that stood in his way, Suraj decides to support her in her journey.

Originating from the dark and gruesome underbelly of Bihar, Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal is a story of the conscientious journey of four outlaws who set out to Mumbai for a mission. These four mercenaries who have grown up in the cradle of crime come from different age groups but are united in being the perfect hell raisers. Their freewheeling passion and addiction to thrill makes them take the route which very few can think of. In pursuit of one of such crimes, they set out to the city of dreams - Mumbai. Their ambitious plan comes to a screeching halt when one of them has a change of heart and their lives take an eventful turn. Is this the beginning of their transformation?
